Oct. 18 – Katie Karchner had an abundance of “something old” at her wedding. When the graphic designer wed Gabriel Capone, a group copy supervisor, their vintage theme was present in nearly every detail. The Manhattan duo wed at Long Island City’s Metropolitan Building, a renovated Queens factory filled with antiques. Old family wedding photographs decorated the reception, where 140 guests enjoyed perfectly rustic favors – old-fashioned candies in burlap sacks.
