Bronx

A Rockland County man has been arrested for strangling his girlfriend in her Bronx apartment, police said yesterday.

David Galindez, 64, of Spring Valley, allegedly killed Ileana Tejada-Colon, 31, in her place on Morris Avenue near East 177th Street Friday morning.

He was arrested later that day and charged with manslaughter.

Queens

A Springfield Gardens woman was busted after sending her husband a bizarre death threat, cops said yesterday.

Allison Monroe, 33, allegedly first hurled several bricks at her husband outside their home on 159th Street near 146th Avenue at 7 p.m. on Dec. 1.

Later, she allegedly sent him a text message: “Your fish are floating on top of the tank and you’re going to be dead like them.”

She was arrested on charges of aggravated harassment and menacing, a spokesperson for Queens DA Richard Brown said.

Police are searching for a thief who robbed a Jackson Heights bank.

The 5-foot-11, 240 pound suspect slipped a note demanding money to a teller in the WaMu branch on Junction Boulevard near 37th Avenue at 2:35 p.m. on Dec. 3. The teller forked over an unspecified amount, and the crook fled.

A 16-year-old has been arrested for swiping an iPod from a man in a Jamaica subway station, authorities said yesterday.

Carlos Scata first asked the victim for the time on a platform at the Parsons Boulevard Station at about 3 p.m. on Nov. 25.

When the victim pulled out his iPod to check, Scata allegedly asked him if he wanted to sell it.

The victim said no, so Scata decided to swipe the iPod, threatening to stab the victim if he did not leave, cops said.

Scata allegedly ran off, but was captured on Dec. 2 and charged with petit larceny and menacing.

Brooklyn

A Coney Island teenager has been arrested for attacking her sister with a wall mirror and a skillet, authorities said yesterday.

Queennik Ramirez, 18, clashed with her sister in their apartment on West 25th Street near Mermaid Avenue on Nov. 14.

Ramirez allegedly hit her sister with the mirror, then struck her with the skillet and punched her.

The victim, who suffered minor head injuries, called police as Ramirez fled, cops said. Ramirez was busted Dec. 4 and charged with assault.

A 67-year-old man shoved a stranger down a flight of stairs at a subway station, authorities said yesterday.

Williams Hampton allegedly assaulted the 68-year-old man at the Jay Street station on Dec. 4. The victim suffered cracked ribs.

Cops grabbed Hampton nearby. He was charged with assault, menacing and harassment.

Detectives are hunting for a thug who viciously attacked a man in Bushwick early yesterday.

The suspect assaulted the 31-year-old man near Bushwick Avenue and Kossuth Place at 3:30 a.m.

The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with severe head injuries.

Staten Island

Two men were busted on drug charges after police raided their Fox Hills home, cops said yesterday.

Moises Betancourt, 32, and Jonathan Rivers, 17, were in their Targee Street house near Vanderbilt Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. last Thursday when cops executed a search warrant and found bags of cocaine, cops said.

A crazed man with a knife was busted at a Staten Island Railway station, authorities said yesterday.

Cops responded to a call of a man slashing car tires near the Grant City station at 6 p.m. last Wednesday.

When they got there, they saw William Duranto, 36, running along an awning above a stairwell before falling to the ground, sources said.

Duranto ran upstairs while police pursued him and finally caught up with him, sources said.

The officers were forced to pepper spray Duranto, who was found with a gravity knife after a struggle, the sources said.

He was charged with reckless endangerment, weapon possession and resisting arrest, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
