In this time of eroding net work viewership – virtually across-the-board – it’s nice to see that CBS’ freshman drama, “The Men talist” (Simon Baker), continues to perform strongly. Tuesday’s episode av eraged nearly 16 million viewers, even more impressive consid ering it was up against the first hour of the “Dancing With the Stars” season finale.

In other series news, Olym pic gold medal gymnast Nas tia Liukin makes her long- awaited cameo on Monday’s episode of “Gossip Girl” (8 p.m./Ch. 11).

Last, but not least:

* Diane Morgan (ABC Family) in town next week.

* Pet Peeve #29: Don’t in vite me to join your LinkedIn network. I don’t care and I’m not interested.
