Still Out

By FRED KERBER

Three and counting for Devin Harris.

The Nets’ point guard will sit his third straight game tonight, still rehabbing his sprained left ankle, as the Nets entertain the Pacers who will be without Troy Murphy (flu). “Devin is out. He’s day-to-day,” said Lawrence Frank who again is turning to Keyon Dooling and Vince Carter to handle the point.

So when will Harris return? Friday?

“It’s possibility,” Frank said. “Until a guy is ready, he’s day-to-day. I don’t want to tell you he’s definitely going to play Friday so he’s day-to-day, making good progress. They tried doing some lateral stuff with him today and they weren’t totally comfortable with it so until he can overcome that, we’ll wait.”

The Pacers are starting Danny Granger, Jeff Foster, Rasho Nesterovic, Marquis Daniels and T.J. Ford. The Nets: Dooling, Carter, Simmons, Yi and Boone.
