Leo and Russell proved no match for a little yapping dog, as “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” bit its rivals for a second straight week.
The lost-in-Mexico mutt topped the box office with $17.5 million, for a two-week take of $52.5 million.
In second was the scary-apartment-building flick “Quarantine,” with $14.2 million in its debut week.
The Leonardo DiCaprio-Russell Crowe espionage flick, “Body of Lies,” took in $13.1 million to finish third.
“Eagle Eye” fell from second to fourth, with $11 million, and “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist” dropped from third to fifth, with $6.5 million.
