Filmmaker Spike Lee likes Barack Obama’s selection of Joe Biden as his running mate.
“Biden is gonna help, gonna help. Definitely,” said Lee, a big supporter of Democratic causes who is in Denver for the party’s national convention.
Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden spotted Lee, who was wearing an Obama t-shirt, along with a Yankees baseball cap.
“I want to thank you for all that you’ve done for Democrats,” gushed the starry-eyed Wyden. “I really want to thank you. You’ve got a lot of fans in my state.”
Lee, who has a new movie, “Miracle at St. Anna,” out soon, was seen here with actor Matthew Modine.
