PAULA Abdul’s ex-boyfriend is reportedly in talks to become ABC’s next “Bachelor.”
Abdul broke up with J.T. Torregiani last month. They moved in together last October after dating for almost six months.
Torregiani, 33, is a nightclub owner and partner in The Dolce Group, a restaurant investors group. He met Abdul, 45, in April 2007 at a taping of “American Idol.” They began dating about a month later.
People magazine reports that Torregiani “was asked [to be the ‘Bachelor’] a couple of years ago, but he got together with Paula so he didn’t do it.”
The hunk is now reconsidering being on the show because “he wants to settle down, have kids, have a family,” the magazine says.
