A relative of a murder victim attacked the accused killer at his trial in Nassau County Island yesterday – leaving the defendant bloodied with cuts on his face, authorities said.
Chavez Jackson, a cousin of murder victim Bilah McGraw, jumped over the court rail and began punching Ronald Rodriguez in the face. He also slugged defense lawyer Anthony Collelouri. Officers in the Mineola court wrestled Jackson to the floor.
Collelouri said someone else shouted to him, “This is what you get for defending scum!”
“It was just pandemonium,” he added.
