‘BOLDEST’ SHOT

An off-duty corrections department cop was shot early today in the South Bronx, cops said.

The 38-year-old cop was shot four times, twice in the arm and twice in the buttox before he was rushed to Bronx Lebanon hospital, officials said. His name wasn’t immediately released. He is in stable condition.

The violence erupted at 1:39 a.m. at 1791 Walton Ave. His injury was not life-threatening, officials said. Circumstances surrounding the bloodshed were not immediately known.

No one has been arrested in the shooting.
