RAPE DNA NOT ANCHOR HUBBY’S

DNA testing on a piece of old chewing gum – an alleged smoking gun in the rape case against the husband of WNBC anchor Darlene Rodriguez – turned up no evidence linking him to the crime, the man’s lawyer said yesterday.

The accuser had told cops that New Rochelle police Sgt. David Rodriguez tried to force the gum down her throat while raping her in February.

But the male DNA on the gum is not Rodriguez’s, his lawyer told the Journal News.
