April 26 – Allison Freyer and Patrick Egan were blinded by love. Well, almost. One year after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, Egan, a sales coordinator for Edward Ehrbar Inc., proposed to Freyer, a structural engineer for Distasio and VanBuren. Egan was old-fashioned and asked his bride-to-be’s father for permission first. Of course, her dad approved, and the couple were married a year later at the Good Shepherd Church in Inwood. The Bronx duo then danced to Bryan Adams’ “Have You Ever Loved a Woman” in front of 200 guests at Villa Barrone Hilltop Manor in Mahopac, NY.
