President Bush’s unpopularity stretches from low-approval ratings to booing baseball fans, and now to one of NBC’s lone hits, “Deal or No Deal.”
“I’m thrilled to be on ‘Deal or No Deal’ with you tonight. Come to think of it, I am thrilled to be anywhere with high ratings these days,” said Bush during his surprise appearance Monday night.
Looks like he jinxed himself.
The NBC game show matched its lowest Monday rating ever: the two-hour “Deal” was seen by 10 million viewers and earned a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49, down 27% from its prior season average.
