WE NOW PRONOUNCE YOU MANNING & WIFE

Guests attending the Mexican seaside wedding of Eli Manning and his college sweetheart were asked to dig deep for gifts for the newlyweds.

The happy couple tying the knot tonight at a tiny chapel in San Jose del Cabo had gift registries at Neiman Marcus and Williams-Sonoma, where a five-piece Buccellati silver set sells for a cool $930.

The Super Bowl hero’s wedding to Abby McGrew was planned as a family affair, with only close relatives invited to the private ceremony, being held in Mexico Saturday night.

Vacationers staying at the resort told The Post they were surprised the event was so low-key.

“Everything in their lives is so big, I think they wanted this wedding to be really small and elegant and intimate,” said Karen Kaforey, a Nashville wedding planner McGrew consulted for the big day.

McGrew’s two sisters were scheduled to share maid-of-honor duties, and Manning’s brothers Cooper and Peyton were set to act as best men.

Altogether, the event had six bridesmaids and six groomsmen.

The bridesmaids dresses were strapless, champagne-colored Badgley Mischka gowns with sweetheart necklines and hems slightly below the knee, purchased at Kaforeys boutique, b.Hughes. They also chose matching crystal chandelier earrings.

“The dresses with the earrings look absolutely gorgeous,” Kaforey said. “Very elegant.”

Kaforey said McGrew was an easygoing bride and “a delight to work with.”

A spokeswoman for Badgley Mischka said McGrew “pulled the [bridesmaid] dress right off the rack, adding, A lot of times, celebrities will ask for a lot of alterations, ‘I want this changed, I want that changed.’ She didnt do that at all.”

“She really is a sweetheart,” added Kaforey, who planned retired NFL star Jerome Bettis wedding. “Both families are very, very sweet.”

Several wine glasses are on the registries a testament to Manning’s new love of vino.

“He can navigate a wine list pretty good, which is pretty funny,” older brother Cooper said. “We’ll be out to eat, and hell order some Bordeaux I’ve never heard of, and I’ll say, ‘Oh, hey, hey, whos this? Look how hoity-toity.'”

The registries feature a variety of other items, including a $345 china vegetable dish, $90 champagne flutes, $280 sterling silver teaspoons, a $240 two-slot toaster and a $99 indoor grill.

The cheapest item on the list is a $17 bread and butter dish.

Manning, 27, proposed to McGrew, 24, in March 2007. The Super Bowl XLII MVP reportedly proposed in Hoboken, NJ, where he lives.

The pair met as students at Ole Miss.
