It didnât take long for the Mets to end Ben Sheetsâ impressive scoreless streak. The Milwaukee left-hander had not allowed a run in his first 15 1/3 innings this season (covering two starts), but the Mets got to Sheets right away this afternoon.
Angel Pagan, filling in for Jose Reyes as the leadoff hitter, opened with a single, went to second on a wild pitch and then scored on back-to-back sacrifices by Luis Castillo and David Wright.
