Repair crews at a lower Manhattan bar made a grisly discovery yesterday – uncovering human skeletal remains in the basement, cops said.
The men were digging to the sewer line at i bar at 277 Church St. to make repairs just after 2 p.m. when they found a skull and other assorted bones inside a plastic bag, cops said.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will test the remains to try to identify the person and determine a cause and time of death.
