MICHAEL, 31, AND FARRELL, 38

Feb. 2 – “Once the bride hits the pool in her wedding dress, all bets are off!” laughs bride Mollie Michel, who incited 30 guests to jump in the swimming pool at the end of her Nicaraguan reception. Michel, the director of corporate partnerships for City Parks Foundation, and Daniel Farrell, the shelter director for Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and adjunct professor at Hunter College, met in 2005 on Nerve.com and knew they wanted to get married in Nicaragua after vacationing there last spring. The Brooklyn duo enjoyed local Nicaraguan beers, Argentine wine and a specialty rum cocktail, the Macua, before dancing to “Dance Me to the End of Love,” by Madeleine Peyroux.
