Church suffers setback

PORT ST. LUCIE -– Mets right fielder Ryan Church is scheduled to see a neurologist here this afternoon after suffering a setback in his recovery from a Grade 2 concussion. Church reported a recurrence of dizziness and other symptoms when he arrived in the clubhouse today after a strenuous whirlpool workout yesterday.

The former National was hurt in a violent, on-field collision with first baseman Marlon Anderson here last Saturday in a win over the Dodgers. Anderson suffered a severely bruised sternum and has yet to get back on the field.

Along those lines, here is the injury-thinned lineup the Mets will send out today against the Dodgers in Johan Santana’s second start of the spring:

Jose Reyes DH

Anderson Hernandez SS

David Wright 3B

Angel Pagan CF

Olmedo Saenz 1B

Fernando Martinez RF

Brady Clark LF

Raul Casanova C

Gregory Veloz 2B
