Starr Report: Baby bump for ‘Zoey’

In all the hubbub over Britney Spears, it’s easy to forget that her kid sister, pregnant, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, (R) is starring in the fourth season of Nick’s “Zoey 101” (filmed pre-pregnancy). So how is “Zoey” faring since the new season kicked off in the wake of its star’s er, big news?

Well, “Zoey” is averaging roughly 4.6 million viewers since its Jan. 27 season premiere. Compare that to the (roughly) 2.9 million viewers it averaged last fall, and you can see how Spears’ revelation certainly didn’t hurt the show, especially among its core audience of tweens 9-14 – where it’s averaged 2 million viewers (compared to 1.4 million in that demo last fall).

Such is the cleverness of Christopher Guest that I can’t watch this week’s West minster Dog Show without thinking of Guest’s movie, “Best in Show” – a takeoff on professional dog shows – while the ubiquitous Oscar campaign for underdog “Juno” (enough already!) reminds me of Guest’s “For Your Consideration.”

Last, but not least:

* “Judge Maria Lopez” (1 p.m./Ch. 11) has been canned after two low-rated seasons. Officials at Sony TV could not be reached for comment.

* Jane Pauley has been appointed a board member of The Children’s Health Fund.

* NY1’s “Black History on Film” vignettes run all month.

* I like the revamped 101.9 FM (mix of classic, new and progressive rock). How often do you hear The Stone Roses on terrestrial radio?

* Damon Wayans headlines Carolines tomorrow through the long weekend.
