After watching the past three games, it’s hard not to be positive about these Rangers. They’ve been impressive, especially in digging deep yesterday against the Canadiens to come behind for a 5-3 win after being down three goals.
This season, one goal leads for the opposition have often been insurmountable to these Rangers. For the Blueshirts to score five straight allows us to start being convinced that this team has a shot at something worthwhile. But I’m still dubious, I have to admit. With the ups and downs we’ve already seen, it would be foolish to believe they’ve righted all that was wrong and will be hoisting the Cup in June.
That isn’t stopping me from hoping, however … and that hope is definitely bolstered by the quality they’ve shown in their past three contests.
