NO KIDDING!

AN LA official has given Denise Richards the go-ahead to use her young daughters in a planned reality show – enraging her ex-husband, “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen.

Commissioner Harvey A. Silberman ruled that Richards could include 3-year-old Sam and 2-year-old Lola in the reality show – which has generated interest from “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest.

The show would follow Richards – an actress best known for her role as a “Bond Girl” in “The World Is Not Enough” – as she works as a single mother in Hollywood.

Richards, 36 and Sheen 42, have been embroiled in one of the nastiest celebrity custody battles this side of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.

Richards and Sheen have been divorced since 2006, with Richards citing the usual “irreconcilable differences.”

Since then she has accused him of gambling, illicit sex and other nasty behavior.

Sheen and his lawyer turned up in court Tuesday to argue that his children should not be allowed to appear on Richards’ show.

Richards was represented at the closed-door hearing by her lawyer – who called in to the proceedings on a speakerphone.

Sheen’s spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, declined to comment yesterday.

Although Sam and Lola can be used in the show, Silberman ruled that they will be subject to a number of rules, the details of which were not released.

“We’ve been in talks about the possibility of doing a reality show,” Seacrest told “Extra” yesterday. “I don’t know if the kids would necessarily be involved.

“It would be about her, if we do this, and her life – and what she wants to do with it, with her career,” Seacrest said of Richards.

Seacrest, who runs his own production company, didn’t reveal to which net-works he has pitched the show. But he already has close ties to E! – where he’s the network’s major personality – and to Fox, for whom he hosts “Idol.”
