NYU SCAM KID’S MOM FACES BOOT

A Connecticut woman who helped her NYU grifter son swindle $8.8 million in an audacious hedge-fund con has been ordered deported to her native Turkey – a ruling that suggests the young man will face the same fate.

Ayfer Yalincak, 53, has been held in a US Immigration lockup since her Nov. 9 release from prison after serving a two-year sentence for abetting her 23-year-old son, Hakan’s, fraud. After a hearing in Hartford on Wednesday, an immigration judge cited her felony conviction as the grounds for ordering her out of the United States.

Ayfer, who earlier did time in an Indiana prison for impersonating a doctor, could appeal that decision. Hakan Yalincak – a former NYU student who duped sophisticated investors into believing he ran a hedge fund – will face a similar immigration proceeding after his scheduled September release from prison.
