Called up to predict the winner of Best Picture, Dave Karger of “Entertainment Weekly” makes a mysterious reference to “Atonement” having already won an award. Mysterious because, as it turns out, not all of the awards were announced on TV. “Atonement” won for Best Score, “Into the Wild” for best song, “No Country for Old Men” for Screenplay, and “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” for Foreign Language Film. But you had to go to the HFPA’s website to find that out.
