QUEENS

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a bandit who stuck up a Forest Hills bank.

The crook walked into a First Central Savings branch at 4:50 p.m. Dec. 14 and slipped a teller a demand note, cops said.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of cash, police said.

The thief is in his 20s, stands between 6 feet and 6-foot-2 and has a thin build and eyeglasses.

An off-duty NYPD civilian employee was arrested for assault after striking her child in Queens Village, authorities said yesterday.

Police administrative aide Latanya Haircrow, 33, allegedly hit her kid at 5:20 p.m. Friday, cops said.

It was not clear what caused the alleged violence.

A teen was nabbed for swiping another youth’s cellphone outside Francis Lewis High School in Fresh Meadows, authorities said yesterday.

Marcus Alston, 19, allegedly took the phone from a 16-year-old girl in front of the Utopia Parkway school near Booth Memorial Avenue at 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 11, law-enforcement sources said.

Alston was arrested Tuesday and is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, according to a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.

BROOKLYN

A man was shot dead in the lobby of an East New York building, police said yesterday.

Marvelle Jackson, 25, was hit in the torso on Miller Avenue near Pitkin Avenue at 5 p.m. Friday, cops said.

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died three hours later.

Police have no known suspects or motive, but sources said Jackson was busted for drug possession four times.

A teenager was shot to death outside a Flatbush bodega, police said yesterday.

Matthew Smith, 19, was standing in front of the Stock One Food Center on New York Avenue near Tilden Avenue when a mystery gunman pumped a bullet into the upper right side of his chest at 9:30 p.m. Friday, cops said.

A gravely injured Smith tried to crawl into the shop after the gunfire stopped. He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he died less than 30 minutes later.

THE BRONX

A Longwood man shot by his girlfriend’s spurned former flame in a bloody rampage died yesterday, police said.

His girlfriend died in the attack and his friend was wounded.

Nicholas Maldonado, 29, was shot in the head in his car outside his Hoe Avenue home moments after a crazed Muammer “Mike” Aldailam, 31, opened fire on Jessica Gonzalez, 23, at 2:20 a.m. Friday.

Police said Gonzalez, who was killed instantly, broke up with Aldailam shortly before the shooting.

Maldonado, along with his 21-year-old friend, who was not identified, were taken to Lincoln Hospital where Maldonado died and his pal is in stable condition.

Aldailam remains at large.

STATEN ISLAND

A teen who works installing energy-efficient lightbulbs was busted for swiping jewelry from customers in Sandy Ground and Prince’s Bay, authorities said yesterday.

Hazem Soliman, 19, allegedly stole an $8,000 ring from a Robin Court home in Sandy Ground on Nov. 15.

The resident noticed the theft two weeks later and reported it.

On Nov. 8 Soliman was replacing bulbs at the historic Seguine Mansion on Seguine Avenue in Prince’s Bay and allegedly pocketed two rings, one valued at $18,000 and the other at $4,000 from a second-floor bedroom.

The same day he changed the lighting in the stable keeper’s quarters – which are normally padlocked shut – and made off with two rings and two bracelets, authorities said.

Soliman was arrested Thursday and charged with grand larceny and petit larceny, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
