Peek-a-boo

If you couldn’t get to Shakespeare in the Park this summer, you can get your fill of the Bard this week when HBO broadcasts a new production of “As You Like It.” Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the play stars Kevin Kline and chronicles the courtship of two of Shakespeare’s best characters, Rosalind and Orlando. All the dramatic elements of a Shakespeare play are on display – political rivalry, banishment and exile — but the play’s well-known backdrop – the Forest of Arden – has been moved to 19th century Japan. Joining Kline in the fun are Bryce Dallas Howard, Romola Garai, Alfred Molina and David Oyelowo.
