We Be Jammin’

For the last few years, I’ve been digging through my parent’s basement to find my pair of Original Jams. They were white with patches of black checkerboards and primary colored graffiti and just so joe cool.

They are nowhere to be found, but I did spy a guy sporting a so so pair in Fire Island this weekend. I haven’t seen them in stores or on anyone in eons, so I asked him where he got them. Apparently, he bought them in Long Island, and the iconic shorts aren’t as precious as I thought.

I went on their website and found that unless I find my old pair, I won’t be sporting JAMS on my bum anytime soon. FRUMPY!

Wouldn’t it be great if they jazzed up their image again and collaborated with low key designers like Jesse Kamm, Mociun, or Sunshine and Shadow?
