“Our sales are slightly above average,” said Dale Coots of Annin & Co., the nation’s oldest flagmaker, attributing the bump to Memorial Day weekend.
Ace Banner & Flag, a Manhattan flag retailer, felt a Fleet Week boost. “A lot of ships have ordered things,” said manager Leah Segarra.
