A pervert with a history of sex-related offenses was nabbed after police spotted him rubbing against a woman’s buttocks on an East Side subway train, authorities said yesterday.
An officer saw Cornell Simms, 32, commit the lewd act on a 49-year-old Brooklyn woman on a southbound No. 4 train near Grand Central Station at 7 p.m. last Friday, officials said. He was arrested when the train arrived at Union Square.
Simms, of Brooklyn, was charged with persistent sexual abuse and forcible touching, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. A Criminal Court complaint indicated that on two previous occasions, Simms had been convicted of sexual abuse and forcible touching.
