A Long Island real-estate agent who was reported missing by her boyfriend on Friday was found dead in their home yesterday.
Suffolk County cops had appealed for the public’s help in locating Joia Gigante, 49, after the man claimed that she’d vanished from their Sayville home without taking any personal belongings.
The search came to an abrupt end when her body was found in an undis- closed location inside the house.
Cops were awaiting the results of an autopsy and had not determined a cause of death last night, but they said they did not believe that she died from a pre-existing medical condition.
Investigators declined to say whether foul play was suspected or whether Gigante appeared to have taken her own life.
