A Brooklyn woman was missing last night – three days after visiting her mother at a nursing home, police said yesterday.
Penny Dennis, 49, was last seen leaving Victory Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon.
The Bay Ridge woman had left her home at 10 a.m. and hasn’t been heard from since.
“Went to the church,” read a makeshift sign on the family’s door on Hamilton Walk in Bay Ridge.
Dennis, a widow, has no children. She has lived on the block for 10 years.
She was recently laid off from her job, said a long-time neighbor.
“I hope they find her,” said the neighbor, a woman who gave her name only as Jean.
“She’s very pleasant and talkative,” the woman added. “She’s very friendly.”
