FILM PICK

Unless the sight of George Clooney’s bare butt is a turn-on, it’s best you skip his remake of “Solaris” and instead see the 1972 original by Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky.

Donatas Banionis has the role taken by Clooney, a shrink dispatched to a space station to investigate strange happenings. He encounters still more odd doings, like the manifestation of his dead wife (Natalya Bondarchuk), the sexiest corpse you’re likely to see. “Solaris” is one of six Tarkovsky films this weekend at Anthology Film Archives in the East Village; anthologyfilmarchives.org
