CAR-CRASH FED HIT WITH DWI

The State Department worker who crashed his unmarked government car into a taxi while escorting three scantily clad women and a cold case of beer to an undisclosed location was arraigned last night on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Jason Giuliani, 26, was arraigned on a DWI charge in Manhattan Criminal Court early this morning and released without bail.

Federal law-enforcement sources said Giuliani works in the diplomatic security detail.

Giuliani – who cops said was a Fort Lee, N.J. resident – ran a red light and smashed into a taxi cab on East 34th Street at Lexington Avenue on Friday night at about 11:30 p.m., cops said.

Witnesses said he was driving west in the eastbound lanes while telling traffic to get out of the way over the loudspeaker in his government issue black Buick.

The three young ladies were in the car, but left the scene of the crash before authorities arrived, according to witnesses and a video tape obtained by The Post.

They also took a small brown bag from Giuliani, the tape shows.

The state department would not comment on what he did for them or who he was supposed to be protecting.

They also would not comment on whether or not Giuliani would face disciplinary action in addition to criminal charges.
