STATEN ISLAND

* A student was arrested for roughing up two cops and damaging a police car in Willowbrook, authorities said yesterday.

Police responded to Susan Wagner HS at Brielle and Bradley avenues at 3:10 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a large, unruly crowd.

Cops arrived to find a fight in progress among a rowdy group, including Carlos Cardenas, 17, sources said.

When cops tried to apprehend Cardenas, he pushed two officers, sources said.

In the struggle, the three allegedly crashed into the unmarked police car, caving in a door.

Cardenas, a student at Susan Wagner, then allegedly punched the windshields of the police car, cracking the glass.

Cardenas was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

* A tip led to the arrests of two roommates yesterday after police executed a warrant at their Port Ivory home and found crack cocaine, authorities said.

Police entered the Holland Avenue residence and found two plastic bags of crack in the living room at 1 a.m., sources said.

Police arrested Granville Palin, 35, and Gloria Nazario, 32, who were charged with drug possession.

BROOKLYN

* A Red Hook man was arrested for sexually assaulting and beating his roommate in their apartment, authorities said yesterday.

Between April 29 and May 26, Richard Byrnes, 48, forced his 23-year-old female roommate to give him oral sex on several occasions in their Columbia Street apartment, sources said.

Then, on May 27, Byrnes allegedly struck the victim, who was holding her 7-month-old child, after she did not prepare breakfast for him.

The victim reported the incidents Monday and police arrested Byrnes the next day.

He was charged with sexual misconduct, criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child and assault.

* Police are questioning a suspect in the shooting of a man in Flatbush.

Cops said Jamari Cummings (above), 24, surrendered at the 67th Precinct station house on Tuesday shortly after police released his photo to the public in the May 28 attack outside a building at 2401 Newkirk Ave.

Cummings allegedly shot the man in the stomach during an argument, the details of which were not available.

The victim was treated at Kings County Hospital and released.

* Police yesterday were searching for a suspect in the shooting of a man during a Flatbush robbery.

Cops said John Ross Roberts (above), 23, brandished a gun when he approached his 23-year-old victim on Fenimore Street at 9:15 p.m. on May 21 and demanded cash.

The victim refused and Roberts allegedly shot him in the leg and fled with his wallet.

The victim was treated at Kings County Hospital and released.

* Police yesterday busted 32 gang members caught with knives and a gun on the Coney Island boardwalk, cops said.

Police arrived at the boardwalk on Surf Avenue and West 19th Street at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday after receiving information that “Dominicans Don’t Play” gang members were congregating, sources said.

Police arrested one gang member for gun possession, 11 for possessing knives, 17 for unlawful assembly and three for disorderly conduct.

THE BRONX

* Cops are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects they say committed a push-in apartment robbery.

Investigators said the suspects shoved their way into a 40-year- old man’s University Heights apartment shortly after noon on May 5.

The trio demanded money at gunpoint and fled with cash and credit cards.

Police would not say where the apartment was located.
