An elevator worker plunged four stories to his death down a shaft in Harlem yesterday.
The 46-year-old Bronx man, who was not identified, was knocked from a ledge when a load of planks fell from a floor above as he worked on the renovation project at 267 W. 124th St.
The victim was employed by Long Island City-based Advanced Elevator.
He was declared dead at St. Luke’s Hospital shortly after the 3:30 p.m. accident.
