BEAU GUILTY OF GAL’S SLAY

A Brooklyn jury yesterday rejected an immigrant’s claim that jealousy drove him crazy when he fatally stabbed his girlfriend inside her mom’s home and convicted him of murder.

Henry Jacobs, 38, who worked 15-hour days delivering phone books, admitted to stabbing his 26-year-old girlfriend, Vanessa Bailey, whom he’d paid to emigrate from Guyana weeks earlier.

He told the jury he flipped out when she told him the relationship was over. If jurors had believed he acted under extreme emotional distress when he killed her on Oct. 17, 2004, he could have been convicted of lesser charges.
