CITY PAID MA AFTER SHE QUIT

A mom was paid nearly $37,800 over 15 months after she resigned as a parent coordinator for a Bronx elementary school because of a city Department of Education accounting snafu, investigators said yesterday.

Juanita Marte quit as parent coordinator for PS 8 in November 2004, but continued to receive payments deposited to her bank account through this February. Marte yesterday told The Post she will pay back the money.
