FILM PICK

Fans of Hou Hsiao-hsien, considered by many the world’s greatest living filmmaker, will be in heaven this weekend when two of the Taiwanese auteur’s flicks unreel at BAM Rose Cinemas in Brooklyn. Today: “Café Lumiere” (2004), with Japanese pop star Yo Hitoto (above) as a woman who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant. Tomorrow: “Three Times” (2005), a trio of stories, each featuring Shu Qi and Chen Chang. Note that “Three Times” will have just one screening at BAM, at 7 p.m., but begins a theatrical run Wednesday at the IFC Center in the West Village. Details: bam.org
