MIKE RAPS MEDDLERS

Ground Zero negotiations are being hampered by outside critics who are emboldening developer Larry Silverstein, Mayor Bloomberg warned yesterday.

“One of the difficult things in negotiating with Silverstein, if he thinks at any point in time that the government side isn’t all together, he’s just not going to negotiate. We destroy all our leverage,” Bloomberg said on his weekly WABC radio show.

“So all of these people who are trying to weigh in and ‘be helpful,’ I don’t know if it’s to get publicity or maybe they’re genuine . . . That’s not very helpful.”

The mayor didn’t name the third parties he was referring to. But in recent days, the city’s congressional delegation has demanded that New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine butt out of the negotiations.
