THE BRONX

*** A 26-year-old Brooklyn man was killed early yesterday morning after being stabbed repeatedly in the arm and torso in his friend’s Morrisania apartment, police said.

Cops busted Daryl Bass, 36, of Manhattan, and charged him with murdering Richard Pruitt, according to officials.

The friend, Myomi Hernandez, 24, told The Post Pruitt had come to her home to protect her from Bass, her on-again, off-again boyfriend and the father of her 3-year-old child.

“Richard was just trying to help me,” she said. “I was scared for my life.”

The two men got into a fistfight inside the apartment, she said.

Bass pulled out a knife and plunged it several times in Pruitt’s arm and torso at 5:30 a.m., police said.

“I kept holding onto [my son] so that he wouldn’t see anything,” said the mother, who called 911.

She didn’t realize Pruitt was stabbed until after the fight, when she rushed over and saw his wounds.

“Richard was just looking up, his eyes were open,” she said.

*** Cops have bagged a suspect responsible for robbing three Dunkin’ Donuts in the past month, including one Tremont store he hit twice in the same day.

Keary Bynum, 29, has been charged with hitting one outlet, at 511 E. 163rd St., at 5:45 a.m. on March 20, where he simulated having a gun and fled with an undetermined amount of money.

The caper prompted him to return at about 9:20 p.m. the same day, where he again gestured as if he had a gun and once more fled with a sum of cash, police said.

He allegedly struck a third time, at 8:30 p.m. on March 26, visiting a Dunkin’ Donuts store at 1040 Prospect Ave., where he produced a silver handgun and again fled with a sum of money.

BROOKLYN

Joeless Pierre and Kevin Lilly, both 18, were charged with the stabbing death of Lamar Lestridge, 27, inside Lestridge’s apartment at 1030 President St. Friday night. Lestridge’s mother heard the dispute from another part of the home and when she looked, she spotted Pierre, who lives several doors down on President Street, and Lilly, of Martense Street, entangled in a bloody fight, sources said.

The suspects allegedly stabbed Lestridge in the torso and the victim was declared dead at the scene.
