An FBI agent on a stake-out in Brooklyn got caught up in a blazing gun battle yesterday, after some random thugs started firing weapons near his location, police sources said.
Bullets began flying at at 9 p.m., when three men pulled their guns in an argument with a man outside Ilayah’s restaurant, on East 95th Street, near Avenue D in Canarsie, sources said.
The G-man pulled his own gun, yelling, “Drop your weapons.”
When the men resisted, he fired, sources said. One of the suspects was hit in the leg, but it was unclear if the bullet came from the FBI agent’s gun. Four men, including the one shot in the leg, were arrested.
