Troubled “American Pie” actress Natasha Lyonne has no intention of facing justice over her alleged threat to molest a neighbor’s dog – at least according to her dad.
The one-time indie film Darling, 26, has already skipped two court dates on the kinky canine rap because “nothing happened – it’s obvious the case is going to be dismissed,” her father, Aaron Braunstein, told The Post. Braunstein said three big shot criminal lawyers have appeared on a public-access TV show he hosts to say the case is without merit.
“Mel Sachs, Ben Brafman and Bruce Cutler [all] say unless the dog testifies, there’s no case!” Braunstein said.
And he insisted his daughter isn’t homeless. “Everyone keeps saying ‘Poor Natasha, she’s homeless,’ ” Braunstein said. “But she’s very wealthy. I live in a huge penthouse with nine bedrooms on the Upper West Side; her grandparents are very wealthy in Beverly Hills.”
But Lyonne was spotted recently looking like “a homeless woman . . . wearing dark, oversize Diesel clothes, a ‘do rag, and her face was very pale and full of ‘crackne’ ” according to the Web site Gawker.com.
She was hospitalized over the summer for drug withdrawal, Hepatitis C, a heart infection and a collapsed lung, according to a source.
