Giving new meaning to the phrase “Do you want a piece of me?” actor William Shatner has sold his kidney stone to an online casino for $25,000, which will be donated to a housing charity.
“This takes organ donors to a new height, a new low maybe,” said Shatner, who agreed to the sale after the GoldenPalace.com casino upped its original offer for the kidney stone by $10,000.
The Web site is known for collecting other weird items, such as a half-eaten cheese sandwich said to contain an image of the Virgin Mary.
