‘SOY-DEATH’ MOM SUFFOCATED TWINS: COPS

The Brooklyn mom of infant twins – whose sudden simultaneous deaths sparked fears of tainted soy milk – was charged yesterday with their murders, authorities said.

Cops say that far from being poisoned, the tragic 2-month-olds were actually suffocated by their mom as they slept in their crib. Ises and Moorfiyah Mathurin died of “asphyxiation caused by compression to the chest and obstruction of the nose and mouth,” said Medical Examiner’s Office spokeswoman Ellen Borakove.

Their mom, 21-year-old Ingrid Rosier, had told cops that she fed the babies a soy milk and cornmeal mixture before putting them down at around 6 a.m. for a nap inside the family’s Canarsie home on Oct. 20.

Rosier claimed she was devastated when she couldn’t rouse the boys four hours later and doctors said the infants showed no signs of abuse.

Rosier turned herself in at the 67th Precinct station house yesterday, where she was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
