NOVAK IN STEW FOR FOUL TV SPEW

Conservative columnist Robert Novak stormed off CNN’s “Inside Politics” yesterday on live TV – after a verbal free-for-all with liberal CNN pundit James Carville.

“I think that’s “bull- – – – and I hate that! Just let it go,” Novak snapped at Carville during a discussion about U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris.

Novak then pushed his chair back, ripped off his microphone and walked off-leaving a laughing Carville and show host Ed Henry.

CNN condemned Novak’s behavior as “inexcusable” and said it had asked him to “take some time off.”

Novak and Carville had been quarreling over Harris’ candidacy for U.S. Senate in Florida next year, when Novak objected to Carville interrupting him. When Carville accused Novak of having to “show these right-wingers he’s got backbone,” Novak snapped.
