A homeless woman was struck and killed by a large truck as she stepped into a Midtown street yesterday afternoon, police said.
Veronica Williams, 49, who had been staying temporarily at a nearby hotel, was hit at 2 p.m. Walking north, she stepped out between two parked cars near 307 W. 36th St.
The truck driver was cited for equipment violations.
