*** A 30-year-old man was shot in a drive-by shooting while on a Carroll Gardens street corner.

The shooting occurred in front 165 Sackett Street near Hicks Avenue, late last night, when a car pulled up to the unsuspecting victim, and one of the occupants fired two shots, hitting the man in the leg, sources said.

The car then sped off, leaving the victim lying on the street bleeding.

The man was taken to Lutheran hospital. His condition is unknown.

*** Four men were arrested at an illegal social club, police said yesterday.

The Joint Terrorist Task Force and members of the NYPD Brooklyn South-Staten Island Vice unit raided the club at 471 McDonald Ave. in Borough Park on Friday evening.

Police seized more than $7,000 in cash and issued summonses to 25 people for loitering where gambling was taking place, according to police sources.

Charged with promoting gambling were Abv Chowdhory, 45, Rafique Ullah, 45, Rob Abdur, 43, and Shasul Hoque, 38.

*** Police yesterday identified the 27-year-old man stabbed to death on a Ditmas Park street Friday night.

Francisco Quiles, of East 29th Street, was standing on Rugby Road, between Foster Avenue and Glenwood Road, just before 10 p.m. when a man in his 20s knifed him in the neck, police said.

Quiles died at Kings County Hospital and the killer fled in a white, two-door hatchback.

STATEN ISLAND

*** A 26-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Stapleton early yesterday, police said.

The violence flared at 3:30 a.m. as John Chase was standing in front of 202 Gordon St., near the Stapleton Houses.

A vehicle with an unknown number of people inside pulled up, and one or more of them opened fire. Chase was hit in the face with one round and taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he was declared dead 15 minutes later.

Police sources said Chase had a criminal history, but there was no immediate theory as to why he may have been targeted by his killers.
