Two cops assigned to the 33rd Precinct, Rafi Hernandez and Richard Santiago, spotted Argentle Santos, 24, inside a staircase at 2104 Amsterdam Ave. at 10:55 p.m. Friday, and he was arrested for alleged marijuana possession and trespassing.

A further search yielded 30 bags of crack cocaine and more than $1,000 in cash, a police source said.

BROOKLYN

*** Cops have arrested a teenage boy for the knifepoint mugging of a fellow 15-year-old, police said yesterday.

Police said the victim had been standing near the token-booth clerk in the Shepherd Avenue subway station in East New York at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, talking on his cellphone, when the teenage thug approached and tried to grab the phone.

When the victim attempted to wrest back his phone, the assailant produced a knife before running off with the phone.

A passing cop saw the mugger fleeing and arrested him, recovering the knife and the phone.

The suspect, whose name is being withheld because of his age, faces robbery and weapons-possession charges as a juvenile in Family Court.
