FEELING LIKE FAVORITE SONS

Last week, the Patriots served as the target of a vengeful team. This week, they seek revenge, and as of last night, oddsmakers figured they’d get it.

New England is a three-point favorite for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Steelers, set for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff in Pittsburgh.

“The two teams that should be in the championship game are in there,” tight end Christian Fauria said. “Unfortunately, we have to go there.”

The Pats last saw Heinz Field in October, when the Steelers snapped the visitor’s league-record, 21-game win streak with a 34-20 victory.

“They don’t have a lot of flaws in their system,” linebacker Willie McGinest said. “We have to go into their house and try to beat them. They are the best team in football.”

The Patriots, minus star running back Corey Dillon who sat with an injury, gave up three first-period TDs over a 3:33 span.

“They just kicked our [butts],” linebacker Ted Johnson said.

“It’s going to be our toughest game all year,” quarterback Tom Brady said. “And it means the most. You win this one, and you got an opportunity for the Super Bowl.”
