YOU’LL NEED BLANKETS FOR THE BIG CHILL

November will feel more like November this weekend with frigid nights and more threats of snow.

Yesterday’s wet mix of freezing rain and northeast winds of more than 10 mph ended a relatively mild spell since the start of November.

Forecasters had predicted the first snow of the season for last night and said a mix of snow and rain could continue early today before the skies clear.

The thermometer should fall from a high of 41 to a low of 30 tonight, they said.

But thanks to the wind-chill factor, it won’t feel like it’s above freezing at any time today. With gusts up to 25 mph, it will feel like it’s only 20 degrees tonight.

Tomorrow should be a bit better with a daytime high of about 45 degrees and an overnight low of 34 – which will feel only a bit warmer than tonight.

The good news is that there’s no precipitation forecast – until next weekend.

TODAY 35 degrees Snow and rain ending early; windy, cold.

TOMORROW 47 degrees Mostly sunny with a cold wind.

MONDAY 52 degrees Sunny; cool.
