Police have searched Danny Pelosi’s jail cell and confiscated the accused killer’s letters and notes as well as piles of defense documents, sources said.
A search warrant was executed at the Suffolk County Jail in Riverhead last week – while Pelosi was in court hearing a prosecutor tell the judge Pelosi allegedly confessed the 2001 murder of millionaire Ted Ammon to two jailhouse informants.
After the papers were reviewed by a judge not involved in Pelosi’s trial, some documents were ordered returned to the defense because they are confidential lawyer-client materials, the sources said.
