GUN-SLAY KIN UNLOAD ON SHOOTER

The grieving aunt of a Queens woman shot to death in an apparent accident lashed out at the admitted triggerman in court yesterday, telling him, “May the devil take a liking to you.”

The victim’s boyfriend, Lorenzo Thornton, 23, of Brooklyn, was sentenced to three to four years in jail after pleading guilty to criminally negligent homicide and attempted weapons possession.

“People like you should be taken out of society for good before you destroy another family,” said the aunt, Betty Wilson, in pre-sentence remarks in Queens Supreme Court.

Family members said the dead woman, 25-year-old Kimberly Clark-Gardner, balked when Thornton tried to bring a loaded shotgun into her Queens apartment – and the pair was trying to unload it when it went off.

“My client is broken-hearted over what occurred,” said defense attorney P. Scott Dufault.
